Security

An overview of the technical and organizational measures SeoReels uses to protect your data.

1 . Our Commitment to Security

SeoReels handles creator video content, account credentials, and connected YouTube data, and we take the security of that data seriously. This page outlines the technical and organizational measures we use to protect it, and what we ask of you in return.

2 . Infrastructure Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256. Production infrastructure runs in access-controlled cloud environments with network segmentation between processing pipelines and customer-facing services.

  • TLS 1.2+ enforced on every connection to our website, dashboard, and API
  • AES-256 encryption for databases, backups, and object storage
  • Network segmentation between public-facing services and internal processing systems
  • Infrastructure hosted with reputable cloud providers that maintain independent compliance certifications

3 . Application Security

We build security into our development process rather than treating it as an afterthought.

  • Code changes go through peer review before deployment
  • Automated dependency scanning flags known vulnerabilities in third-party libraries
  • Static analysis and linting run as part of our continuous integration pipeline
  • Secrets and credentials are stored in a dedicated secrets manager, never committed to source code

4 . Access Control

Internal access to production systems and customer data is limited to employees who require it for their role, protected by multi-factor authentication, and logged for audit purposes.

  • Role-based access control (RBAC) limits each team member to the systems their role requires
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for all internal access to production systems
  • Access to customer data is logged and periodically reviewed
  • Employee access is revoked immediately upon role change or departure

5 . Video and Data Processing Security

Uploaded videos are processed in isolated, ephemeral environments and deleted according to our retention schedule described in our Privacy Policy. Processing infrastructure is never exposed directly to the public internet.

6 . Payment Security

Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, the highest level of certification available in the payments industry. SeoReels does not store full card numbers on its own servers.

7 . Monitoring and Logging

We monitor our systems continuously for suspicious activity and maintain audit logs across our infrastructure to help detect and respond to potential incidents quickly.

8 . Vulnerability Management

We run regular dependency and infrastructure vulnerability scans, and engage third-party security researchers for periodic penetration testing. Identified issues are triaged and remediated according to severity, with critical issues addressed as a priority.

9 . Incident Response

We maintain an incident response plan covering detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. Affected users will be notified without undue delay in the event of a data breach affecting their information, consistent with applicable law, along with guidance on any steps they should take.

10 . Business Continuity and Backups

Customer data and account configuration are backed up on a regular schedule, with backups encrypted and stored separately from primary systems. We periodically test our recovery procedures to confirm backups are restorable.

11 . Responsible Disclosure

If you believe you've found a security vulnerability in SeoReels, please report it to security@seoreels.com. We ask that you give us reasonable time to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure, and that you avoid accessing or modifying data that does not belong to you while testing.

We will acknowledge reports within 3 business days and keep you informed of our progress toward a resolution.

12 . Your Responsibilities

Security is a shared responsibility. We recommend the following practices to help keep your account safe:

  • Use a strong, unique password for your SeoReels account
  • Avoid sharing your login credentials, and use individual team seats for each collaborator instead
  • Review connected app permissions on your Google account periodically
  • Report any suspicious activity on your account to us right away
